--THE PREMISE-- Fifty Sheets of Grey is an extremely unique semi-erotic novel that acts as the exciting memoir of a sweat-shop produced, novelty-gold colored, 100 thread-count bed sheet from a fulfillment-warehouse to a landfill-whorehouse. --WHAT MAKES IT UNIQUE-- Fifty Sheets of Grey is obviously unique overall, but are the individual reasons behind that feel: 1. Unedited: While publishing an unedited book may seem like a lazy, quality-tarnishing choice for any author, in Fifty Sheets of Grey, by living up to the popular 'First Draft = Final Draft' college student mantra, the occasional typo that may be present is overshadowed by the purely-organic, fast-paced, wittily-punny, and non-stop styling that will be comfortable to a reader, especially compared to those who feel the need to put on airs like some kind of fancy heiress (i.e. American Air, the Macbook Air, or even Jim O'Heir). 2. Linen-based Erotica: Need we say more? First, just the fact that the story gives life to an inanimate object in a way that isn't cute like Toy Story just makes you say, "Why?" Then take that already weird subject matter and add semi-erotic themes into the mix. (However, the author does acknowledge that maybe there is a good reason as to why nobody has written a line-based erotic novel before.) 3. Short, sweet, & pretty neat: Longer books are great, but sometimes they can feel like someone is using a cheese grater on your brain (see what I did there...ya know....great & grate?...Lol...please help me I'm so alone......) as if some sort of overzealous, Wisconsin-based, Olive Garden waitress is serving a cheesehead customer who just won't say 'when' until Jesus gives him a sign. On the flip side, Fifty Sheets of Grey is refreshing like a trip to the waterpark where you only see one white-trash tattoo and the number of boobs are greater than the number of moobs. Once you read Fifty Sheets of Grey, you'll have 'No Ragrets' to speak of. --THE AUTHOR-- Joshua Ritter is a wheelchair-bound, ADHD having, clinically-drugged, college student who decided he wanted to write a novel, in his goal of living live to the half-fullest (rather than his old attitude of living life to the half-emptiest). The unique writing style & organic/unedited nature of the novel are actually more refreshing than harmful to the quality of Fifty Sheets of Grey in that it gives a unique look into the way someone (with ADHD or other similar condition) like Josh thinks in everyday life. While his almost manic level of non-stop ideas, wit, tangents, and puns are all too evident for those who know Josh, this novel does a great job in portraying that mental state as well. In his spare time, Josh enjoys writing comedy for his new show, Just Joshin', fundraising for non-profits (like a campaign he starred in for St. Louis Children's Hospital, which raised over $100,000), working & playing at Six Flags St. Louis, and delivering inspirational (while at the same time comedic and somewhat cynical) speeches. He currently lives in St. Louis, MO with his parents or with his hot Bae(tta fish), DaShawn. He is also the semi-prominent Reddit user, /u/Signal-7_10-4, as if that actually meant something. Finally, Josh is also an ordained Reverend with the largest online-ordaining-organizations ever since 2013 when he was waiting for a pizza to arrive. --A SNEAK PEEK-- The only outline or pre-planning that went into the creation of the novel was a single ten-minute session to write the chapter titles in the Table of Contents. Here are a sampling of chapter titles, but remember, 'tis not the title that chooses the chapter but the chapter that chooses the title: 3 - Kids & Number One: Golden Showers Bring Risque Hours 5 - Washing(a)ton: Experiencing a Politician's Power 6 - Ye Olde Sheet Shoppe: Chains, Whips, Dungeons & Dragons 8 - Land(fill) 'Ho: Yo 'Ho, Yo 'Ho, How much for $20?
